About the role

Our Marketing and Communications team are responsible for creating regular content that supports nurturing existing clients and attracting new clients and creating a range of assets that support Leesman and HqO’s commercial team.

What you'll do

The MD plays an important role in supporting the team with the creation and development of assets used to promote the Leesman and HqO’s brand. You will have solid work experience in creating compelling design work which utilises great typography and visual direction. All of which is on-brand and adheres to our globally renowned reputation. As well as creativity this role also requires some decent technical knowledge, so you will also need experience in colour balancing image files, resizing documents and assets and eliminating any inconsistencies. You'll have exceptional organisational skills and a keen eye for detail and will be able to spot potential problems with designs during development and apply any fixes before final completion of artwork. You can work across a variety of formats and channels, designing and creating artwork for digital platforms, on-screen presentations, offering support for e-marketing and digital media, as well as print. You'll work within the marketing and design team to ensure that all artwork is accurate, in-line with our brand expectations and meets necessary deadlines.

What you bring

senior designer position in the near future.

The MD’s responsibilities are:
Sound ability to work on brand platforms to ensure brand development
and consistency
Working with the marketing and creative team to create immersive
designs, icons, and artwork to represent campaign concepts
Contributing to projects from concept stage to final artwork
Developing on-brand commercial design assets with varying formats to be
replicated across appropriate channels, digital platforms, social and print
media

Adapting digital artwork files for digital purposes, checking assets are of
suitable quality to ensure they meet print and web standards and
implementing adjustments when needed
Possessing good layout and typographical skills and knowledge of fonts as
well as strong retouching and visualisation skills
Creating interactive reports, forms and checklist pdfs
Developing and maintaining PPT decks and Word templates
Adapting existing artwork to alternative layouts and/or formats
Open to collaborating on skills and idea generating with internal and
external stakeholders
Ability to follow detailed briefs and creative direction, and respond to
feedback as well as providing progress updates on project work
Maintaining and updating artwork libraries and archives, providing access
to digital assets as required for use by colleagues and on varied platforms
Proofing and approving media before it’s publicised, including
reappropriating, resizing and scaling of assets
Checking and verifying the quality of proofs for print materials
Collaborating with external suppliers to ensure all visual graphics are
consistent with brand guidelines
Having excellent time management skills and the ability to work to
deadlines across simultaneous design projects
Keeping up to date with the latest design trends
Requirements for success:
Graphic design qualification to degree level or equivalent
3/4+ years’ minimum industry experience
Strong portfolio of commercial projects showing B2B examples
Possess excellent communication skills
Good aesthetic sense and creative thinking
Ability to solve complex problems
Good understanding of people
Effective team player
Superbly organised with ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently
In-depth knowledge of:
Adobe Creative Cloud, namely Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and
Acrobat Pro
Good understanding of:
Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
WordPress CMS (desireable)
Figma
Desired understanding of:
Video editing
This role reports to the Marketing & Communications Director. This is a full-time,
permanent position.
