About the role:

This role is responsible for the full E2E ownership of the enterprise file transfer platform, and leadership of the internal and external support teams. We are looking for a strong process-oriented candidate, who can work well with technical and business stakeholders. Ideally, they have experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, to provide the foundation for secure, compliant, and maintainable file transfers within a large company.

IT Operations Product Manager SFTP - Directs and manages the product operations including the day to day support, strategy and overall direction of the SFTP services. Identifies business objectives and customer needs for the SFTP product services, articulates what success looks like for a product, and ensures the delivery of the that vision into reality

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of a new enterprise file transfer platform, IBM Sterling B2B Integrator

  • Drive the process to merge all other corporate solutions into this single application.

  • Lead the internal support team and direct the implementation vendor.

  • Drive cross-functional team collaboration, including technical consultants, developers, and project managers, to ensure alignment between functional and technical aspects of the project.

  • Liaise with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to SFTP processes across the business and ensuring the requirements are translated into functional specifications and user stories for the technical team.

  • Coordinate and support end-users in performing UAT, ensuring that the system meets their needs and expectations.

  • Identify and track issues and defects, working closely with the technical team to resolve them.

  • Post implementation, ensure a focus on continuously improvement, owning the new transaction onboarding process and maintaining and updating the platform.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of IBM Sterling core components, specifically B2B integrator.

  • Strong knowledge and experience in industry standard protocols (SFTP, HTTPS, FTP, EDI, AS2, Connect:Direct, WebDav, JMS)

  • Experience with monitoring the performance and availability of the environment to identity problems early and prevent them from recurring.

  • Familiar with encryption methods and technology solutions to secure information for both business and client needs.

  • Understanding of business requirements and transforming them into process automation

  • Must be self-motivated and able to lead a team and manage an implementation vendor.

  • Must possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proactively communicate status updates to the Leadership across IT/Business Teams

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (5- 10yrs experience)

Estimated compensation for this position is:

150,000.00 – 172,500.00 USD

The pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable. The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
