The Real Estate and Facilities Business Analyst will be responsible for collaborating with the global service line and IT to turn information into value, identify the desired end state and the anticipated business value / impact of the project. This function is accountable for ensuring business requirements are conveyed to technical resources and solutions are built according to documented business specifications.

Primary Responsibilities

Strategically partner with REF stakeholders to make informed decisions about approach and share best practices and improvement opportunities relative to technology systems.

Demonstrate current knowledge of Real Estate industry and technology solutions with ability to actively apply this to implementation projects.

Facilitate and conduct client interviews and workshops on business process as it relates to technology solutions implementation

Lead the discovery and analysis of client needs, as well as internal reviews of development prior to Build Reviews and UAT to ensure alignment with Client processes

Work closely with Global regions and stakeholders to develop roadmaps for feature development, as well as process improvement efforts needed within region

Author client requirement documentation, such as Design Documents, Training Manuals and other technical documents

Regular status updates to Technology Project Manager / account leads.

Manage/collaborate with global team in meeting timelines and understanding of requirements

Assist in customer training and delivery of user documentation on implemented solution

Ability to handle multiple tasks, with strong attention to detail and organizational

Role Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience implementing Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS), corporate real estate (CRE) technologies, or other technology solutions for customers delivered at an enterprise scale. This role must be strong both functionally and technically in the CRE technology domain, with a deep understanding of advisory services. They will have implementation experience in the full software development life cycle (SDLC), delivery methodologies, data gathering, data analytics and scenario planning.

5+ years of experience as a Consultant or Business Analyst

Experience or understanding of design & construction, real estate, facilities portfolio planning, space and occupancy management processes preferred

Strong analytical, communication (both written and oral), facilitation and presentation skills

Strong technical aptitude including experience with cloud-based services and products and fundamental data analysis skills

Experience leading large meetings with many senior stakeholders

Ability to translate client customer requests to make impactful recommendations that meet client customer needs.

Strong influential skills with ability to work across diverse stakeholders to drive common solutions.

Anticipates and understands the emerging needs of clients

Must be comfortable facilitating high level business and technical discussion between JLLT and the client’s leadership, engineering, project management, and operations teams.

Strong problem solving, strategic and tactical thinking, and analytical skills

Strong presentation skills including presenting to executive levels both internally within JLLT and externally at the customer.
