About the role
Responsibilities and scope of work:
Develop 3rd Party BMS/BAS and protocols level integrations for JLLT edge gateways and applications.
Develop operational tooling to support project implementation and building onboarding activities like discovery, scanning and provisioning.
Perform Discovery, Scanning and Provisioning as part of Project Implementation to onboard buildings to JLLT Smart Building Platform.
Research, Analysis and Develop 3rd Party Cloud API and IoT Integrations.
Participate in developing technical assessments of 3rd Party BMS/BAS systems and open/proprietary protocols.
Work closely with Project Implementation and Project Engineering teams and provide consultancy on various RFPs.
Participate in assessing and analyzing L3 issues meeting SLA requirements and collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve L3 issues.
Develop test cases, scripts and test harnesses to perform and automate various QA tasks.
Conduct network traffic analysis for troubleshooting end to end performance and connectivity

Minimum Requirements Include:
Bachelor/Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of engineering and/or development experience related to BMS/BAS solutions.
Extensive knowledge and experience with development building/industrial/IoT automation
Minimum 5 years of experience in Python, and scripting languages like PowerShell, and Bash.
Extensive experience with MQTT, REST, Distributed Computing and Message-Driven Development.
Strong experience with BMS/BAS protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, OPC, Niagara, Trend.
Experience with AWS PaaS products and/or other cloud providers is a big plus.
Excellent written and verbal skills, detail-oriented and excellent critical thinker.
Ability to analyze complex problems and break them down, delivery and outcome oriented.
