Duties & responsibilities

As a BI Senior Manager, you will lead a team and facilitate the delivery of BI, analytics and technology solutions using design thinking and agile delivery methods. This will involve leadership to create business value, ensuring work delivered aligns with our four strategic objectives: improve compliance, reduce cost, increase productivity and drive revenue.

SPOC / Relationship Management

  • Serve as single point of contact in the areas of data, visualisation, and analytics.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationship with account leadership and team to become the “trusted advisor for all things data”.
  • Facilitate design thinking ideation sessions to elicit user centric features with estimates of ROI for presentation to a business steering forum.
  • Build effective working relationships with technology delivery teams locally, regionally and globally.
  • Keep business platform leadership appraised of technology use, benefits realized, issues and ongoing projects.

Project Management

  • Program manage all BI, analytics and technology delivery for assigned clients.
  • Requirements & co-creation, development of business case and project charter (technical), managing project stakeholders, managing development lifecycle (development, test/QA, UAT, bugfix/retest cycles) through to go-live, change management and overseeing support maintenance structures.
  • Engage account leadership to review use of and value extracted from tools to gain support on necessary adjustments.

BI & Analytics

  • Understanding of high level of technical concepts with demonstrated ability to manage a team of analysts who manipulate and analyse raw data, research data issues, draw conclusions, provide resolution, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Oversee Alteryx server governance for private studios and collections, with appropriate user access management. Monitor control reports for effective use of server. Ability to elicit, document and gain business approval for data and visualisation requirements.
  • Manage Operating Model requirements for team, ensuring all steps are followed through to production delivery, including: peer quality reviews, documentation, and appropriate user access management has been applied. Quality review the team’s design of dimensional data models and schemas, ensuring consistency of supporting metadata.
  • Work with business line data stewards and other stakeholders to identify and schedule remediation actions when critical data quality falls below the accepted threshold. Lead the team to deliver crisp Tableau design and visualisations, reporting, storytelling and insights by leveraging JLL BI design standards.
  • Tableau administration and management best practice including user management, security and access.
  • Support business data discovery and profiling using Tableau.
  • Run education sessions for users on visual design principles, usage and governance standards on Tableau.
  • Facilitate experimentation and prototyping, in collaboration with the business and our clients on areas of interest to leverage visual analytics.

  • A motivated self-starter with a proven track record of successfully delivering best practice and quality to their client.
  • 8+ years of BI, business or data analyst experience required ideally in an enterprise environment across multiple application systems and business functions.
  • Demonstrated successes in data analysis, drawing conclusions and improvement.
  • Bachelor degree, Master degree or evidence of rockstar skill in BI, data science, computer science, econometrics, operations research, statistics, Information Management, or related analytical field highly regarded.
  • PMP or PSM certification would be differentiator.
  • Azure Agile DevOps experience preferred, but some Agile experience required.
  • Business analysis, consulting/advisory and/or project or client management experience will be a strong plus.
  • Ability to interpret and tell the story behind the data.
  • Able to communicate in a clear and concise manner in English.
  • Able to work with diverse stakeholders - business, IT and clients.
  • Good trouble-shooting skills, able to use Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Process oriented with good grasp of requirements elicitation, project management and technical delivery/development processes.
  • Knowledge of Corporate Real Estate industry or any multi-services industry is a bonus
  • Working knowledge of BI tools (Tableau preferred), querying databases (SQL) and ETL tools (e.g. Alteryx, SSIS , Informatica) and data manipulation necessary.

Estimated compensation for this position is:

114,800.00 – 148,400.00 USD per year

The pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable. The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
