We are looking for a passionate Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to transform data into value for our customers. In this role, you will help building out our reporting and analytics platform with data from our business-oriented web apps. You will be responsible for data modelling, data mapping, data analysis, creating dashboards and providing ideas for our platform in the commercial real estate and property management space. Candidate must have a strong background in data analysis, data modelling and report development. Python, JavaScript and AWS experience would be very nice to have.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop enterprise business intelligence, data warehousing and reporting solutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Design and implement data models, insuring data accuracy, integrity, and performance.
  • Identify and address data-related issues.
  • Create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to enable data-driven decisions.
  • Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and security of the BI solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Provide technical and business knowledge support to the team.
  • Troubleshoot and fix issues in production and non-production environments.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to streamline data integration and reporting workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulatory requirements.

Experience & Education

  • Undergraduate or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Proficiency in at least one Business Intelligence tool (Sisense BI, QuickSight, Power BI, QlikView or similar).
  • Cloud experience with AWS.
  • Experience of solving complex problems with creative solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to details.
  • Understanding of working on an agile environment software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of programming languages (Python, JavaScript) for data manipulation and analysis is a plus.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a continuous learning mindset.
