What this job involves:

The Product Management Lead - Residential Technology will oversee the strategy, development and execution of software for JLL's residential real estate business. This role demands a blend of leadership capabilities, people management skills, product acumen and technical expertise, to drive the successful delivery of innovative residential real estate products that meet user and customer needs.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Product Strategy and Roadmap:

  • Develop and maintain a strategic vision and roadmap for residential technical products.

  • Identify market opportunities, conduct competitive analysis, and understand customer needs to inform product development.

  • Collaborate with senior management to align product strategies with business goals.

Product Development and Management:

  • Lead the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch and beyond.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure successful product delivery.

  • Prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business objectives.

Team Leadership:

  • Build, mentor, and lead a team of product managers, providing guidance and support to drive high performance.

  • Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the product management team.

  • Set clear goals and expectations and conduct regular performance reviews.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for residential technical products, communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Coordinate with marketing and business teams to develop go-to-market strategies and ensure successful product launches.

  • Engage with customers, partners, and industry experts to gather insights and feedback.

Technical Expertise:

  • Maintain a deep understanding of residential technologies and trends.

  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and optimize product performance.

  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry standards to drive innovation.

Performance Measurement and Reporting:

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform decision-making.

  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on product performance, milestones, and strategic initiatives.

  • Continuously analyze data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and growth.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • Significant demonstrable experience in technology product management.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading product teams and delivering high-impact products.

  • Significant experience in people management.

  • Strong technical background and comfortable interacting directly with engineering teams.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to think strategically while managing detailed aspects of product development.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:

  • Previous professional experience in the real estate sector, especially residential

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product management tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Passion for innovation and staying current with industry advancements.

  • Experience working in large global organizations with geographically dispersed teams and complex technical environments as well as dealing with internal and external customers, service providers, and vendors.
