Responsibilities:

  • Perform vulnerability assessments, troubleshoot scanning of systems, and networks to identify security weaknesses and potential risks.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis to help identify security vulnerabilities and weaknesses risk patterns across our global infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with development and patch operations teams to provide guidance and assistance in remediating identified vulnerabilities and implement secure coding and system development practices.
  • Develop and maintain tools, scripts, and codify automation to support vulnerability analysis, remediation, metrics and general vulnerability program needs.
  • Stay up to date with the latest security vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and exploitation techniques, and proactively assess their potential impact on our systems.
  • Aid in the development of reporting on vulnerabilities, risks, and recommended mitigation strategies for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work closely with other members of other cybersecurity and IT teams to ensure vulnerabilities are properly addressed and remediated in a timely manner.
  • Assist in incident response activities by investigating and analyzing security incidents, as needed.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of vulnerability management processes, procedures, and methodologies and tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • 3-5 years’ experience as a Vulnerability Analyst or similar role. An ideal candidate would have previous experience or a working foundation in software development and would be comfortable scripting and consuming vulnerability scanning tool APIs, with a good familiarity of working with vulnerability and asset data.
  • Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure environments (AWS/Azure at a minimum) is required.
  • Experience in data analysis used for vulnerability management program measurement and/or development of metrics or Key Performance Indicators is a plus.
  • Working knowledge in any of the following programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript, Java, C/C++, or .NET. Python is preferred.
  • Experience in PowerBI or any experience with data visualization tools and/or relational/non-relational databases (SQL, Postgres etc.) would be plus.
  • Knowledge of common security vulnerabilities, such as OWASP Top 10, and experience in identifying and remediating them.
  • Understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP stack, and common security technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple project initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ethical mindset, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional ethics.
  • Any experience with machine learning/artificial Intelligence model development would be a significant plus.

Estimated total compensation ran for this position is:

140,000.00 – 180,000.00 USD per year

The pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable. The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
