About EliseAI

EliseAI develops cutting-edge conversational AI technology for industries fundamental to our lives: housing and healthcare. Everything is built on the foundation of health and home. Broken systems or ineffective processes in these domains have a disproportionate impact on our quality of life and society’s overall wellbeing. Conversely, any solution or technology that solves problems in these areas will have an impact that ripples far beyond them.

That’s the only kind of impact we are interested in having at EliseAI.

If you get excited by the thought of working really hard on these kinds of problems, then EliseAI is the right place for you.

About the Role

EliseAI is looking for a Director of Sales Operations to partner with our team as we continue our rapid growth. You will report to our Chief Revenue Officer and work closely with our Chief Financial Officer to build best-in-class sales operations and strong synergies with finance. You will contribute to advancing our overall sales strategy, select and manage our software and tools, and ensure that our entire sales team has the resources they need to operate efficiently.

  • Strategic planning; develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve our ARR targets. Work closely with CRO on strategy and ensure rapid translation of strategy into process. Use data to define processes and tools that will ensure rapid scaling
  • Performance management; establish KPIs for the sales team. Be forward-thinking and proactive in using data and reporting to provide transparency and actionable insights
  • Systems and technologies; own and manage sales technologies and systems, including Salesforce.com and various integrated tools. Manage and build tools, flows, and automations. Own key vendor relationships and negotiations
  • Deal desk; build and manage “deal desk” to enhance existing processes for CPQ, contracting, closing deals, and invoicing in partnership with CRO and CFO
  • Sales forecasting; work with CRO and CFO to develop robust short-term and long-term forecasting tools. Ensure that sales managers and AEs provide timely and quality inputs
  • Data and process hygiene; manage regular system maintenance and routine changes (e.g., account assignments)
  • Training and development; serve system users (sales, customer success, implementation) with training and support to ensure their productivity
  • Lead the recruitment, training, and development of a high-performing Sales Ops team
  • Cross-functional Collaboration; Work closely with other departments, such as Marketing, Product, Implementation, and Customer Success, to ensure alignment on company goals and to optimize customer acquisition and retention strategies

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS sales operations. Previous sales experience outside of operations would be awesome
  • Deep understanding sales pipeline management and forecasting, sales processes and tools, and reporting
  • Salesforce.com wizard - able to effectively manage a complex deployment with various customizations, integrations, and automations
  • Sharp analytical skills with the ability to surface the right data with relative ease. Excel and Salesforce reporting proficiency are a must
  • Excellent written and verbal and communication skills, with the ability to speak to the data and make it relevant and digestible for all teams and levels within the company.
  • Experience working cross-functionality, and leading initiatives between various teams

Why join

Growth and impact. It’s not often that you can get in on the ground floor of a funded startup that’s scaling. That means that instead of following a playbook, you’ll be writing it. Every single day you will be challenged to identify how we can scale and execute on it. You’ll learn what works when you succeed and what doesn’t when you fail. Either way, the rest of the team will be here to support you.

In addition to the growth and impact you’ll have at EliseAI, we offer competitive salaries along with the following benefits:

  • Equity in the company in the form of stock options
  • Medical, Dental and Vision premiums covered at 100%
  • Fully paid parental leave
  • Commuter benefits
  • 401k benefits
  • Monthly fitness stipend
  • Our brand new Midtown south office with an open floor plan, fully stocked kitchen, and company paid lunch
  • Unlimited vacation and paid holidays

We'll cover relocation packages from outside of the Greater NYC metro area - we'll make the move exciting, not painful.

Job Compensation Range:

The salary range for this role is $180,000 - $210,000. EliseAI offers a competitive total rewards package which includes base salary, equity, and a comprehensive benefits & perks package. Exact compensation inclusive of salary and any bonuses is determined based on a number of factors including experience and skill level, location and qualifications which are assessed during the interview process. Additional details about total compensation and benefits will be provided by our Recruiting Team during the hiring process.
