The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to join our growing IT/IS organization. As the IT Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our IT operations, supporting our team’s ability to deliver critical SaaS business applications and technology infrastructure.

The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of our business applications, ensuring they meet the operational and strategic needs of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive technical expertise, and a proven track record of managing complex IT projects with cross functional teams. You will lead a small team of IT professionals as well as 3rd party suppliers providing all needed IT services.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
  • Develop and implement strategic IT plans and initiatives that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
  • Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration.
  • Track and maintain hardware and software inventory
  • Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including network infrastructure, systems administration, cybersecurity, helpdesk support, and vendor management.
  • Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of IT systems and services in our home office and help support the IT team in our International office.
  • Support compliance standards (data backup and recovery/DRP)
  • Promote IT best practices within the organization
  • Manage IT projects from initiation to completion, including scope definition, resource allocation, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project objectives, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Monitor and assess IT risks and implement controls to mitigate potential threats to data security and business continuity.
  • Build strong relationships with other departments within the organization to understand their IT needs and priorities and ensure alignment with IT strategy.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of the key business processes and systems employed by the business
  • Make objective recommendations regarding the relative fit of technology to business need
  • Assist the business to form process and systems solutions that satisfy both tactical and strategic business needs
  • Oversee MDM solutions like Kandji or Intune to manage and secure macOS and iOS devices.
  • Administer other productivity and collaboration tools such as Slack, Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence),
  • Manage and optimize G Suite for the organization, including user accounts, groups, permissions, and security settings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a relevant technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT leadership roles.
  • Strategic mindset with proven IT project management skills.
  • Developing and implementing IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance.Strong technical skills across a range of IT areas, including networking, systems administration, cybersecurity, cloud computing, backups, and recovery procedures.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • 5+ years of IT applications delivery/management experience in manufacturing
  • 5+ years of IT project/program management, PMP certification a plus
  • 5+ years of ERP system management, Epicor preferred
  • Deadline oriented and able to complete assignments promptly

Compensation

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skills, education, experience, and location is $140,000 - $180,000 annually for Hayward, CA and surrounding areas.
